Dr. David Jenkins, Canada Research Chair in Nutrition and Metabolism and the creator of the Glycemic Index, will give a free public lecture titled, Diet and Chronic Disease in the 21st Century. In his talk, he will discuss the effect of diet on modifying the progression and severity of chronic diseases. A reception will follow and parking will be available in Lot 15B.
