All About Bones: Insights from Fossils and Embryos

Dr. Tamara Franz-Odendaal, Associate Professor at the Department of Biology, Mount Saint Vincent University, and NSERC Atlantic Chair for Women in Science and Engineering, will talk about how we can learn from fossils and embryos. She will share insights into fundamental biological processes underlying skeletal complexity, space, and health research. She will also step through her career path, which started in South Africa, sharing her personal stories along the way.
