Family History Society Meeting

Tuesday, April 22, 2014, 7:30-9 p.m.
EN-2040

David Mercer of the MUN QEII Library will discuss a major undertaking to produce a database of World War I involvement, including Royal Newfoundland Regiment, Naval Reserves, Forestry, partnerships etc. The database is not yet ready for release but we will learn what we will be able to access in the near future.

Our ancestors came and left Newfoundland on ships and imported produce on ships and shipped fish by sea. Dan Duda of MUN’s QEII Library will give a short discussion on how and where to investigate shipping routes to and from Newfoundland.

Free parking is available in lot 16. Non-members are welcome to attend.
