The School of Social Work is pleased to announce the third annual Kindness Friday Blitz collection for the VOCM Cares Coats for Kids (CFK) Campaign. The VOCM Cares CFK Campaign is a partnership with the School of Social Work, Canadian Red Cross, Vibrant Communities, Community Sector Council and Atlantic Home Furnishings. It is also supported by Royal Canadian Legion and Metrobus. On Kindness Friday, individuals from departments across campus and at Marine Institute are invited to bring the following items to fill the square:  coats, mittens, scarves, gloves, boots, skates, toques, snow pants, skidoo suits, 

While the blitz will be first CFK collection, the campaign will begin its community collections in late October where public donations can be brought to the School of Social Work and various community locations.

In November, when collections are complete, distribution will happen to families needing this clothing.
