The Department of Philosophy will be hosting the Atlantic Region Philosophers' Association 2014 Annual General Meeting on Oct. 24 and 25.  The keynote speaker for this event will be Alice Crary (New School for Social Research) "Ethics and the Concept of the Human:  Reflections on Cognitive Disability and the Dead".  This event will take place on Oct. 24 in A1046 from 5 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
