Families are invited to come celebrate winter at MUN Botanical Garden. This is a beautiful time of year to hike our woodland trails, spot wildlife (or their tracks), wave goodbye to our migrating ducks and get lots of fresh air. 

Morning and afternoon sessions will be offered by the Garden’s education staff. The nature hikes will start at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and will be followed by hot chocolate, special story times and nature crafts, once we return to the field centre.

Registration is not required. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This program is suitable for young children and their families.

Session #1:
10 a.m. - Winter Woods Nature Walk, followed by hot chocolate, story time and nature crafts.

Session #2:
1 p.m. - Winter Woods Nature Walk, followed by hot chocolate, story time and nature crafts.

Everyone is welcome.
