ED-1001

The Too Big To Ignore project (toobigtoignore.net) is a research network and knowledge mobilization partnership established to elevate the profile of small-scale fisheries (SSF), to argue against their marginalization in national and international policies, and to develop research and governance capacity to address global fisheries challenges. One of the goals of this project is to generate systematic knowledge of global small-scale fisheries by using the philosophy of a transdisciplinary approach to develop meaningful content that will be offered as open education once developed. Dr. Chuenpagdee and Ms. Walsh will provide the group with an overview of the planning and development stages for this course. Webcast link available at http://www.open.mun.ca/OEW2015.php.
