Work and Employment Speaker Series: For Better or Worse? The Effects of Maternity Leave Across Developing Countries

Join the Faculties of Arts and Business Administration as they offer this free speaker series that examines whether maternity leave policies benefit developing countries cross-nationally and over time. The researchers explore whether these policies affect economic growth, women’s labour force participation, infant mortality rates and birth rates.

Free parking is available in Lot 15B. Featured speaker is Dr. Liam Swiss, associate professor of sociology at Memorial University.
