Attention science students! Have you ever wondered where your science degree can take you? There will be an "Alumni Career Talk" for science students whereby science alumni will speak about what career path they have pursued and how they navigated their job search with a science background.

Since 80 per cent of jobs are not advertised, networking often plays a major role in how graduates find a career that fits their interests and values.

The event is free and it will be a great opportunity for science students to network and learn what types of careers there are in the hidden job market and how to best market skills to employers. Some of the backgrounds of the alumni include Biology Honors, Geography, Biochemistry, Marine Biology and possibly Computer Science. There will be two science alumni presenters at the event and refreshments will be provided.
