Fourth Annual Rhododendron Festival: Everythings Coming Up Rhodies!

MUN Botanical Garden has over 200 varieties of rhododendrons. Join us for special exhibits, talks and walks, workshops and information, all about rhododendrons.
Workshops and walks presented by Todd Boland, MUNBG Research Horticulturist
Workshop #1: Care and Cultivation of Rhododendrons
Date: Saturday, June 13, 10 am noon
Learn all about rhododendron care. All participants will go home with a one-of-a-kind rhododendron/azalea hybrid created here at the Botanical Garden.
Format: PowerPoint presentation and walk (outdoor program).
Fee: $45 public / $40 FOG; Pre-registration is required; Space is limited.

Rhododendron Walk & Talk:
Date: Saturday, June 13, 2:30 - 4 pm
Join Todd for a walk and talk showcasing the rhododendrons in our gardens. Format: Garden walk (outdoor program).
Fee: General admission / Free for FOG + MUN students.
Drop-in program. Pre-registration is not required.
Workshop #2: Native Ericaceous Plant Tea & Tour
Date: Sunday, June 14, 2 - 4 pm
Learn all about these rhododendron cousins, then join us inside for coffee/tea and scones with ericaceous jams (blueberry & partridgeberry).
Format: Walk and talk (outdoor program).
Fee: $16 public / $12 FOG; Pre-registration is required.
