MER Speaker Series: The Impact of Behavioural Goals on Transfer from a Management Development Program
The Master of Employment Relations (MER) program is offering the first in its annual speaker series.
Featuring Dr. Amy Warren and Dr. Travor Brown, this presentation will explore a study that examines transfer from a training program focused on interpersonal skills for public sector participants. Overall, the management development program was effective as transfer was high across all study conditions. In particular, self-efficacy and transfer were higher than post-program relative to pre-program. Discussion will focus on various elements of the program as well as the overall implications it has for human resource development.
