Memorial’s Faculty of Business Administration has launched a new online network exclusively for business alumni.

MUN Business Connect brings alumni together to engage with each other, share news and achievements, learn what’s happening at the business faculty and post jobs and events that may be of interest to other users.

Key to the online network is the opportunity for alumni to act as mentors by indicating which type of support they are prepared to offer to their fellow alumni, whether it’s to review resumés, provide introductions or help expand professional networks.

“MUN Business Connect is an exciting new way that we can stay in touch with our alumni, and through which they can connect with each other,” said Dr. Wilfred Zerbe, dean of the business faculty. “We’re excited to offer this opportunity to our alumni and to provide a means by which alumni all over the world can come together to network and support one another in their careers.”

The alumni networking platform is hosted by Graduway, a leading provider of alumni networking platforms to post-secondary institutions around the world.

Alumni may sign up for MUN Business Connect by creating a user profile or by using existing Facebook or LinkedIn profiles.

“I believe MUN Business Connect is an easy way to stay connected with the faculty and classmates,” said Rob Crosbie, chair, Crosbie Group Limited, and a graduate of the commerce class of 1979. “It is an easy to use service that will no doubt allow me to stay on top of what is happening at the faculty, what issues are unfolding and provide access to a source of information when needed.”
