Memorial’s Testing Centre has been recognized as the best of 13 testing sites across the country. With more than 6,000 tests available, hundreds of students, alumni and others visit the Testing Centre annually.

Amanda Parsons, Test Administrator

Career Development and Experiential Learning facilitates both computer-based and paper-based examinations. These services give the residents of Newfoundland and Labrador access to many of the leading admissions exams, including the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) and the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), as well as services for students completing distance courses with universities such as Athabasca and Dalhousie.

“As the only testing centre in the province, we are delighted to host and offer this important service,” said Jennifer Browne, director, Career Development and Experiential Learning. “Receiving a grade of 100 per cent in customer service contributed to our first-place ranking, and full credit must go to Amanda Parsons, our test administrator.”

In 2013 Ms. Parsons was the only test administrator in Canada selected to visit the Prometric headquarters in Baltimore, Md. Prometric is a trusted test development and delivery provider to more than 400 organizations worldwide.
