Deadline for input on statement on research involving humans

The Interagency Advisory Panel on Research Ethics (PRE), Sub-group on Procedural Issues for the TCPS (ProGroup) would like to remind institutional administrators, researchers, Research Ethics Board (REB) members and other users of the TCPS of the Public Call for Input on the Identification of Procedural and Definitional Issues in the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS). This is an open invitation to solicit your input for identifying procedural and/or definitional issue(s) in need of revision or clarification in the Tri-Council Policy Statement: Ethical Conduct for Research Involving Humans (TCPS). If you would like to take part in this consultation process, please send your answers to the following questions by Aug. 8, 2003, to PRE's special Sub-group: ProGroup@pre.ethics.gc.ca:

1) What are the top five procedural and/or definitional issues in the TCPS that you would like to have addressed? To assist with categorization, please indicate (P) for procedural and (D) for definitional issues.
