Public forum on Atlantic Accord tonight
Memorial University's public forum on the Atlantic Accord is going ahead tonight. The forum - titled The Atlantic Accord, Equalization, and Offsets: An Independent Assessment – goes ahead Wednesday, Feb. 2, at 8 p.m. in the Reid Theatre located in the Arts and Administration Building, on Memorial's St. John's campus.
The forum will feature a presentation on equalization by Memorial economist Dr. Wade Locke followed by a panel discussion with political scientists Drs. Chris Dunn and Stephen Tomblin and economist Dr. James Feehan.
The forum will be moderated by Dr. Robert Greenwood, director of the Leslie Harris Centre of Regional Policy and Development. The public is invited to attend this forum and there is no admission charge. Free parking is available in lot 15, located east of the Music Building.
