Longstanding partnership

Jeannette Manning is pictured labelling the penultimate print issue of the Gazette newspaper at The Button Shop in St. John’s. Clients of the Vera Perlin Society have assisted with the Gazette's distribution since 1975. When asked what she likes about working at The Button Shop, Ms. Manning said “everything” and even after 15 years of applying 2,000 labels per issue, she loves to “get out of the house and to get paid.”
